What should I do if the effluent quality of the water purification equipment does not meet the standard?

September 20, 2024
If the effluent quality of your water purification equipment does not meet the standard, you can follow the following steps to investigate and solve the problem:

1. Check the status of the filter element: Water purification equipment usually includes multi-stage filter elements, such as PP cotton, activated carbon, RO membrane, etc. Firstly, check whether the filter element has reached the replacement cycle or is clogged or damaged. Regularly replace the filter element according to the instructions in the device manual.

2. Clean the filter screen : If the device has a pre filter or a post filter, make sure they are not clogged. Regular cleaning or replacement of the filter can improve water quality.

3. Check water source issues: Sometimes the water quality does not meet the standard, which may be due to problems with the incoming water quality itself, such as incomplete treatment processes in water plants or secondary pollution caused by aging pipelines. Check if similar situations exist.

4. Check the working status of the equipment: Ensure that the power supply of the equipment is normal, all components (such as pumps and valves) are running well, and there are no obvious abnormal noises or water leaks.

5. Verify water quality detector: If the device comes with water quality detection function, ensure the accuracy of the instrument. Sometimes the test results of the equipment may need to be calibrated by a professional organization.

6. Contact professionals: If none of the above steps can solve the problem, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer of the water purification equipment or an authorized repair service center. Professional technicians can diagnose the problem more accurately and provide solutions.

7. Maintenance Records: Maintain equipment maintenance records, including filter replacement time, equipment inspection time, etc., which helps track changes in equipment performance and detect problems in a timely manner.

Through the above steps, in most cases, the problem can be identified and corresponding measures can be taken to improve the effluent quality of the water purification equipment.
